Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. i live in the area where the call number originates from but its not from here its usually someone from liverpool or up north with crap about car accident etc etc, tried calling it back but puts you on hold with music playing and american voice every now and again saying your call is important please hand on if only people could find a real job rather than harrassing people on a daily basis

Fraud. Called by this number pretending to be the HMRC in the UK advising me that my name had been used for a fraud case and that if I didn't follow the instructions a warrant would be put out for my arrest. Obviously fraud as HMRC don't operate like that.

Claiming to be BT, saying getting reports that my router/internet speed is not as it should be. Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. Same thing happened on 2nd time of not understanding.....but this time he hung up. Suspect not BT at all.
