SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:22 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. SPAM, unsolicited call, after hiding my number and calling back seemed to get an automated response, not in English. quite possibly a scam.

Claiming to be EE feedback call for my mobile. Epic fail on so many levels not least their shitty VOIP. OFCOM need to shut down the routes used by fraudsters not leave it to sites such as this to highlight their scams.

Just received a call from this number asking for my father , bucase the number they called is a works mobile I explanied that he wasnt available , the operator ( asian male ) then asked me does he give you his phone look after , I replied yes to which he called me a fucker and then hung up , he claimed to be from citizens advice originally !

SCAM. An Asian sounding man who called himself Simon called me to say my washing machine warranty had run out. Seeing as our washing machine is about 15 or more years old I do not doubt it. I told him not to try and scam me as I had had these sort of calls before, and hung up. I have since blocked the number.

SCAM First of all said they were from Windows, wanted me to turn on my computer so they could stop the hackers who had been trying to get my personal information. They said if I didn't turn on the computer now they would block everything, stop it from working and the hackers would use my information to get access to my accounts. When I asked them to speak to someone in the house who works in IT security they rang off quickly.

SCAM - claim to be from BT Openreach and advise my internet searching has gone from private to public. They had my home address details (but I didn’t confirm anything). My system has not been compromised, as I have all my security settings nailed down and up to date. Don’t divulge or confirm anything with them, even when they say they are putting a block on your IP, it’s nonsense.
