Phone wrang once did not answer or call back suspect it scam

First claiming to be ‘ internet provider.....but when I ask who my internet provider was just hung up.... Then claimed to be from amazon.... odd as I don’t use it... Then BT... Scammer

Pretty sure this is a scam number I’ve had the exact same call before asking for me to read out a code from a text I’d get sent from O2 put the phone down and called o2 myself and they said it was a scam

Sounded automated, asked them to repeat themselves and they carried on talking. Sounded Indian origin

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. SPAM I had a call this afternoon from 01491281131 The name was completely garbled but claimed there had been an attempt by Amazon for £300 this Morning, then a "suspicious- because I had never used this service before" International Money wiring service claim for £!,200. Then the usual Press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to an advisor I did some checking and there is NO claims being made and the Phone Number has only been issued today, 5th April

This number called claiming we had poor internet connection, very persistent insisting I go into my emails whilst he was on the phone. Our connection only checked the day before was fine. Be aware of this.

Automated call, claiming to be from a bank (not specified) to inform me two payments had been made on a card. One to Amazon, and one an international transfer. Asked to press 1 to cancel, and another number to be transferred. This is the third call received in less than a week from similar numbers.

Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. DO NOT fall for this as the system he was offering is free under NHS for vulnerable.
