Automated message claiming to be bank security (no bank name mentioned) saying there’s been unusual activity on my card via Amazon and an online purchase. Press 1 to approve, 2 to reject and 3 to speak to a customer adviser.
I realized it was not a scam but paperweight. It was just strange that the call lasted 1 second and nobody answered. I called them to fill help me fill out disability related benefit forms. They tried to call me back.
Got a text from “Evri” about a parcel having a £1.45 shipping fee, gave me a link and said if I did not pay the “parcel” in question would be returned to the sender. I haven’t ordered anything.

When I answered the call a man said he was calling from a security company which installed alarms etc - I said I was not interested and he said ok and I switched off phone. It was to my mobile number which I have only given to friends and family - cannot understand how I am now getting calls on this phone mainly from phones which appear to be in the North of England. Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.
