Had email saying I have purchased washing machine cleaner for £352.43 .I have not!

I received an email purporting to be from Ebay telling me that I had bought a £ 1000. television ( which I had not ) and that it would be delivered Mar 16th-17th and quoting this as a contact number. This is an obvious scam !

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. I filled in a pile of crap and they only stopped me going further this time because they cannot count and apparently I am in London...news to me. The call came from Manchester yet again probably rerouted from a call centre abroad. I have blocked the number as always.

I've put this as a Missed call but i didnt actually answer phone, i just let it ring as i didnt know who this was from and didnt actually recognise number, I'm very wary these days ,as there's too many scams goin around so i typed this number into google to see what came up it lead me here where it seemed to have a negative rating , so i will block in my Phone along with many others over the yrs .

My mobile number is not in use, just use it for mobile data. Just had a call and got an automated "you have a Fedex package waiting" I just hung up.

2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..
