Just received a call from this number from an articulate young man who attempted to argue with me when I questioned who he was and shouted over me rather than listening to what I was saying. It was apparently something to do with green energy and saving me money. I said I did not deal with cold callers and asked him not to ring again as he could not save me money as my energy bills are fixed but he said I did deal with cold callers as I had answered the phone! It was altogether a very unpleasant call.

SCAM - Claiming to be from 02 and asking for security code to access the account and give you a monthly discount. Fortunately the text that’s sent with the code warns to hand up immediately if code is being requested via the phone. Stay vigilant!
When I answer, it rings another number so I cut it off before that one was answered. I can only imagine this works as a reverse charge call because effectively you end up calling them. I have been called once a day for the past week by this number. Guess it is an advertising call centre or something. But will probably never find out because I cut them off.

SCAM Pretending to be from Amazon Called me several times this week saying my Amazon prime Will be renewed in several days time. I don't have Amazon prime as I cancelled it due to not needing it.
I believe this is a number possibly from Pure Cremation. I you have shown interest in arranging your own future cremation via your phone used and did not do so they will call you back on this number and another. I did not answer.
Claimed to be "Energy Saving Trust" but it was a sales call for loft insulation. Get these calls frequently; block the number each time then a few days later they ring from a different number.

My Mum got scammed with a company called World IT pro saying they worked with Microsoft. They actually remote installed remote tracking software so they could see all her computer activity and charged her £300 for 'five years protection' - I called and complained and said I thought it was a scam and they refunded it (or it looks like they have - the money hasn't come back into the bank yet). Insurance - they are insurance brokers. Can't remember their name. I was their customer 2 years ago but then found out from another broker (when I switched life policy) what they promised me will never going to happen, like having life policy till age of 80 etc., so seems they are set on selling only, not advising correctly. Automated voice saying two transaction been made on my card and to press 1or 2 for help and info. Scam put phone down
Automated bank fraud call stating that my bank account had been compromised, second one in as many days from a Swansea number.
They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.
Scam calls, usually related to Crypto. These people have been harassing me for over a year due to the previous owner of my phone number having filled out an inquiry on their website. They call from numbers generated in the UK and across Europe/Asia. The number is not in service when you try to call it back.
