My record will show that I have been alert through two telephone contacts from my sheltered housing flat in ensuring that my bills are timeously paid with appropriate assurances. I, no-one I know, and no-one in their right mind would answer an unknown number. After searching through hospital numbers for fear it might be a dear friend trying to get in touch I found tonight the 10 or more calls came from my energy supplier with whom prior arrangements were amicably in place. Unsolicited call from Chris, my local energy advisor. When I asked who he worked for, he just repeated his name and his vague title. I told him to FO. The reply was; "OK" and that was the end of the call, It was an English sounding voice, but there was a very slight delay that made me doubt it was actually a human. It could have been an intelligent computerised voice that reads off a script. It was annoying and potentially dangerous.

This number when called back tells you that you have dialled an incorrect number. My opinion is by experience that it’s a spam number. Usually trying to sell something or get details from you for insurance or PPI claims. I have blocked now.
