SCAM - claims to be from BT and looks like a genuine Bristol number but it's not in use.

Pretty sure we were just phished from this number, treat with caution

SCAM! Following several silent/scam calls, I normally screen all calls with my answering machine, but decided to pick up this time. Voice at other end said he was calling about a problem with my "Virgin Media broadband". I don't have Virgin Media broadband to told him to piss off! Obviously a scam call from another low-life scumbag.

SCAM Purporting to be a bank card fraud department. The guy had an Indian accent... and I do not use the bank that was mentioned, so I put the phone down. The ONLY fraud was the caller. No doubt they would have been asking for all sorts of things - DO NOT give them any information whatsoever.

Fraud, claim to be from an appliance company offering an extended warranty. When questioned could not name the make or model of the appliance. Clearly not genuine.

Received an automated call from this number purporting to represent my credit card (no name mentioned, no bank name mentioned) saying that it had been used twice, once on Amazon, and for a foreign currency transaction. Press 1 for security, 2 for customer services. SUSPECT FRAUD!!

Fraud scam asking people to go to the bank and take money out of their account

Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

Told me they were ringing as I had a car on finance; I don't. Then asked if I had purchased a car on finance or PCP between 2014 and 2019, again, answered no. Then asked if I had mortgage or loan recently, again said no. Then ended the call. Hopefully with those answers, they won't bother calling again.

*****Suspected SCAM**** Someone saying they were from Marston Recovery (High Court Enforcement) regarding unpaid council tax. I don't owe council tax. They became rude when I told them I would not give any information and did not owe any money. I called the local council and confirmed there is no enforcement on my property or any previous property I have lived in. *****Suspected SCAM*****

Claimed to be energy survey company. When told we were not interested and to delete our details, the caller said "you c**t". Not the attitude to have regardless if it was genuine or spam.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Complete scam - saying from virgin media re download speed of internet. They advise opening an ap to check speed then download another ap - DONT - could not confirm any virgin details like account number or services I receive only name and postcode. PLEASE DONT FALL FOR IT NEWCASTLE UPON TUNE
