This is an Inland Revenue scam. They sent me a robo-call sying I was going to be prosectuted by the Government under the guise of something I'd done associated with Inland Revenue. I wait for the someone to come on the line who asked 'How can I help you?'. I replied by saying 'You called me'. They dropped off the call.

Caled at 16:15. An English accented woman launched into "I'm from the Community Energy Review, & want to tell you I am not selling anything..." I cut her off & told her she was lying, that she wanted someone to check my insulation & that they would be trying to sell me "upgraded" insulation. There was a long silence so I hung up. It was an automated message saying that my visa card was being used to get £900 from my account. I believe this call to be a scam, beware.

This number was used for a scam call supposedly from BT Internet. I think it is probably an ordinary valid number, Scammers seem able to hijack numbers and this is one of several received recently from other members

This number is a romance scammer number

The call was from a VISA fraud checking unit. However the number was the fax number for a garage in Penkridge, Stafford that closed down some time ago. Clearly scammers have cloned the number.

Number was not answered. A partial message which was distinctly robotic was attepmting to convince me that £900 pounds worth of shopping has been done using my debit card. Would I please press 1 if this was not me. Blocked. Defo a scam.

Received a call from this number (07922591295). Its a scam. A voice telling us that we had an £800 on line gambling charge on our our Visa card in America that they (presumably Visa or our bank?) thought was suspicions and was on hold. To stop it we just needed to respond by pressing 1.

SPAM recorded call today saying they were from the bank and a payment for £700 had been made to Amazon and £2000 had been transferred elsewhere. The usual press 1 to transfer or press 2 to speak to someone. I hung up.

Almost certainly a scam, saying international transfer from your visa account, request you to press keypad if you wish to decline payment. I didn't.
