I received a miss call, when I called back, a voice message answered and it said thank you for registering and we will hold your number or something. They didn't identify themselves in the message.

I've just had a call from this number and it is a genuine number from Nationwide building society, They were calling to update me on a problem I had reported.
I was called this morning from this number and when I answered it was silent, no one spoke so I hung up. This number is very similar to one the other day only differing in the las 2 digits ie: 76 as apposed to 64. A pattern emerging maybe?

says credit investigation company when I picked up the call. I questioned their authenticity and was talked over when trying to ask questions so no listening skills there. Alarm bells are ringing ... what an amateur setup. Call leads to a lesser used number from a geographical location (Bolton). Calls blocked. NB: Don't be the 'one' who accepts this, ask questions, no sales & marketing company (legit or not) will make calls like this, question EVERYTHING you have been WARNED! don't do it be vigilant.

SCAM, I rcvd a call from a guy who claimed he was from BT and that we had a problem with our line etc. Sadly for him we have nothing to do with BT and when I confronted him & had a go at him and asked him never to call our number again he called me a ba.....rd. SCAM - Claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse Limited. Second call from that business today, from two separate numbers. Wanted to discuss my account. I am not a customer of that business.
Call is coming from location in Russia. On answering it just goes dead.
My wife had a call from this number regarding bank fraud for £700 & £900. Don't think it's legit.
Answered call and voice identified himself as Energy advisor in area and asking to confirm as householder. Feeling polite, I responded yes but do not entertain cold calls and asked to end call. The voice continued making me believe it is voice-activated and not to be trusted. I put the phone down.
