07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.

I answered the call & was asked if he can speak to Mr. Davis. I said "You have the wrong number as there is no one living here of that name". Called in a male voice (could have been recorded) said that he was driving a Jaguar and that I had cut him up and flipped the bird at him. Ended the phone call promptly

Debt scammer, " saying you have a lot of outstanding debt, and are having trouble paying it. ( bullshit).

SCAM The caller was a recorded message suggesting they were from a Londoon Magistrate and stated that if I choose to ignore this information then my National Insurance number will be blocked and stop working. After another threat they told me to press 1 to speak to the officer in charge of the case. At which point I hung up.

Recorded message left on answerphone saying there had been fraudulent activity on our account. Went on to say to press 1 to agree to transaction or press 2 to speak to support team. Suspect it’s a scam as number is local.
