Extremely aggressive random drunk caller in the middle of the night, swearing, making violent threats.

Indian accent, claiming to be from O2 offering 30% discount on your plan. They try to trick you by submitting a 'forgotten password' command onto your account. You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. They try to convince you that's the 'discount activation code' and ask you to give it to them, presumably to hack your account while on the phone to you. Do not give them anything! Fraud

SCAM Received another call from this number today - this time they left a message. Very strong accent and ringing from a call centre so it was difficult to make out. Caller stated they were calling from somewhere which sounded like Yonny (EON something) regarding our energy account. Caller did not specify which type of energy. Caller gave this number as a number to ring back 'as soon as you receive this message'. Ignored and deleted.

Scam - said they were from some sort of social housing repair team and asked what problems I've been having with my rental property, damp, repair needs etc. I pointed out I don't live in a rental property and they hung up.

I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.

SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. 01315105459 called me this evening from Edinburgh. She had an English accent and knew my name and marital status and number. She claimed to deal with policy's and worked for royal London. When asked where she got my private data info she said "from the same place I get everyone's, from Facebook where you clicked on a like and accepted marketing from us". I know I didn't! SCAM!!!!

When I asked who was calling,what company.. ? I was told by caller to f*ck off. and than he ended call..

Someone offering me an available slot on the front page of Google for a month. Told me they were from Google and then when I queried that, claimed to be an official partner. No one, not even Google themselves, can guarantee you a specific slot on Google. Hang up and ignore.

Think I stick with my Google Pixel 6 thanks. When I asked to be taken off there call list the caller got aggressive and angry. Think he was mad because couldn't scam me.

Noted number and called back through different phone. Sounded like a recorded message from the network provider indicating a terms of service issue and potential out of country routing. Highly dubious. Do not answer.
