SCAM Automated message allegedly from "Bank Authorisation Department" re two claimed charges on my Mastercard account of £300 via Amazon AND £1100 from a "gambling site in California", invitation to press 1 to take some action over the charge and press 2 to speak to someone. Completely agree with the other review. There's no reason for me to be called from England. I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO CALL THIS NUMBER BACK, as the number showed as possible fraud. There have been accounts of people calling a number like this back and getting charged a lot of money.

Sounded like an Indian call centre. The lady claimed to be from "Medical Health Services" telling me I could have some kind of personal alarm system because I was a senior citizen over the age of 60. When I told them I wasn't over 60 they said goodbye and hung up. I suspect some kind of scam call.

So Octopus Brokers pretending to be an Energy Company, are selling private details to third parties who want to put lethal equipment in people's homes so they can cut people off when they feel like it. I will report them to the ICO. Section 4(2) of the Fraud Act 2006 covers fraud by abuse of position which the billing company deliberately omit. The are committing fraud as they have no valid contract with anyone. Smart Meters cause health issues and should be banned asap.I blocked the scammer. No consent.
