BEWARE - scammer. 2nd identical call today. A male with an Indian accent told me his name was Winston and he was calling from BT. I asked him what my BT account number is, but he did not answer and said he was calling because of a problem with my router / browser. The number was falsified - when I tried calling it back, it did not connect.
Phoned three times yesterday and once today and hung up after three rings, when called them back the number is not in service! Annoying as I am at work when they ring.
Called at 10.37 on 27/04/15 and was silent on the other end, very annoying.

So far have had four calls from this number. The first call was asked to answer a few questions for a poll. Told him I did not do surveys and he put the phone down. Second and third calls were male who put the phone down when told I do not do surveys and please do not call again. Fourth call was female. I told her she was the fourth caller in two days, please take me off their list and don t call again. The call was immediately terminated. Am now waiting to see if there are any more calls.

Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. Fraud - automated call saying it was my bank (didn't say which bank!!!) detailed two transactions it said was made this morning one to Amazon and one a transfer abroad. Asked me to press 1 to cancel transactions or 2 to authorize. I'm guessing that this would then take me to a premium line number or someone asking for my details. I just hung up of course. The scary thing is that it showed as coming from a local dialing code or I wouldn't have answered it.
