I was called from this number by a woman asking to speak to somebody who wasn`t me. The name she asked for is the same as I`ve had on other scam calls. This is a dangerous number.
Tried to say they were a company (could they catch what the company was after three attempts at asking. A yway as soon as the Asian man said "were running a promotion on your number".... well he got a mouth full and a polite goodbye hahaha

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. This is a scam phone number. I received a call from "Currys PC World" regarding new phone deals. Similar to other reviews, speaking with someone with an Indian accent (however his English has improved since the other reviews were left).
Scammers pretending to be from Three contacting ex customers of Three for final payments. Threes payment number is 0800 033 8033 so it is close. Three send final bills by email so no need to contact anyone from an 0800 number.

A computer generated voice allegedly from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs saying that a letter had been returned to them undelivered and that legal proceedings would commence... At that point I hung up. I would assume that HMRC would have real people working for them, particularly if it was something legal.
