Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

From hmrc.warrant out for my arrest.press 1 to speak to my case officer.put phone down. Message left twice in the last 2 days.not sure if it s from the same number though.

Called asking for my pension details saying they need to send out some new documents. Felt uncomfortable half way through call & asked them to confirm my scheme number. He couldn t & said their info appears to be wrong. He was very friendly & polite but nothing rang true. He said he will confirm his info & ring me right back. He didn t but I rang my pension company who confirmed it was nothing to do with them & they ll investigate. Fraudsters, do not tell them anything!

Received a worrying call about an accident which I didn't have. Asked for details before being cut off.

Had a call today saying that they were a new company setting up in my local area and they already had a company in Leeds. Asked me if I drank water. Said no - he was surprised! Then said he didn t blame me. Asked if I would answer a few simple questions to be entered into a prize draw for a holiday. Told me if I won (which was very likely) then he would deliver the tickets to me in person at my house tomorrow. 26.9.17 I was told that I had been in an accident. I said pull the other one. Response was to ask when did I have the accident. When I asked if she couldn t hear my reply, the phone went dead. Calls like this are very annoying. This one came when I was expecting an important call and I was an invasion of my privacy.
