I got a call from this number saying they were amazon and someone had purchase a £300 phone on my account. When I told him to cancel it he asked me to log on to my playstore account. When I said to him it was a scam and that I was not stupid he swore at me and ended the call

Phone call received at 1105hrs this morning ( 12th April ) caller with an Asian accent introduced herself as Mary from Sky Technical support advising me that they had received several reports that my internet was causing problems. I terminated the call at this point.

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Caller had very poor English. Saying he was from Virgin Media. The caller delayed speaking, then in a very odd voice said he was calling from virgin media. Not trust worthy very unprofessional

Automated call - said there was suspicious activity in my account which is when I hung up and checked my account which was fine so I think this was a SCAM. If there had been something untoward with my account, my bank would have called me with a real person not an automated version. 17/08/22

Supposed to be microsoft security as have had a pop up block my laptop and quotes this number to contact to help unlock the block.

This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.
