The caller said a new store was being set up in the town and they wanted to send me discount vouchers for either cutting hot water bill or heating bill. When I asked about for more information he mentioned something about the 50+ age range. I told him we are ex-directory so how did he get the number. He said something about UK database and I said I didn t deal with cold calls and he rang off.

Dave from Amazeyingly Clean had a Mr. Jones from CFS telephone today stating he did not like the message I left regarding their harrassment tele calls which was polite requesting they stop or I will take court action. I shouldnt have but "I went off on one and was verbally abusive" at which point he hung up. Then he telephoned back and laughed down the phone and then hung up. Since then he has telephoned at least 5 times. So now I m calm I will be reporting the idiot and the company to the authorities.

UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message). Kirsty , an automated survey, called Oct 9th 2014. I am ex-directory and registered with TPS. I am also disabled and find phone calls very stressful. Due to my disability, I need my phone line available at all times but this call blocked my access to my own phone line! I hung up and then went to make another call-- kirsty and her survey on energy supply was still prattling on! Hung up again but again, the call was still blocking my line when I tried to call out. Disgusting!
