It was a recorded message with a very polite womans voice stating she was from bank security advising that there was two suspicious transactions from my account one was £300 pound from Amazon and the other was a card transaction from abriad of £1300. The recorded message then asked me to press ONE to speak to an advsor. I hung up the phone immediately and called 1471 the call was timed at 1345 hrs on 26-01-2023,
Sales call From the one time I’ve answered. Seems to be from a company called Motoreasy selling used car warranties. Very direct over the phone trying to get you to sign up immediately. All I did was fill out a comparison form on their website, researching different cover plans, lengths and prices. Now can’t get rid of them!

Fraud. Female automated voice claiming to be "bank security". Said two new charges appeared on my account. Hundreds of pounds on prepaid phone card and something for Mexico. Press 1 or 2 to to speak to support staff. Laughably worded but still evil and some will fall for it.
Another number used by the emissions team - overseas caller - about car emissions. They change their number regularly and work from a script and from each number call daily. Ffs - get a life.

If you answer "hello" or "anything else", the line will be logged as a 'VOICE LINE' and you'll get called back later by a con-artist! SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Up until this mornings call I had had no emails asking for payment - not that I would answer them anyway. email in my Inbox purporting to be from Bulb (My Energy Company) - I have a DD with them they would not act in this way = DELETED !

Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.
Phoneline only used for computer access so any callers are spammers - this is one of them!

Fraud - pretends to be British Gas and is quite consistent on speaking to our Manager. Has called several times over the past fortnight.
01420 563233 called using my name and was obviously from India area. He reckoned he was speaking from Amazon and wanted to talk about an iphone I had ordered at about £740 apparently. Told him to get off the line or I will report him to the police. No doubt what the scam is he wasn't going to do it on me.
