Try’s to tell you there’s a CCJ against you for unpaid fees to an advertising company (community council advertising working in connection with National crime prevention) recons bailiffs will be attending at 9am. SCAM Called by this number early today. Female with a strong Indian accent, said she was from Vodaphone and offering me a new contract. I cut the call short as I was busy with other things. I check after revealed the number is registered to Hutchinson 3G UK / Three UK. VERY unlikely that Vodaphone would be calling to renew my contract via a Three mobile phone. Number blocked, DANGEROUS SCAMMER for sure.

This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.

I believe an AI automated scam system, that responds to your response. I think you are talking to a computer generated voice, I hear "Hi this is John from the driveway company" or close on. Serious scam, I get repeated calls daily.

Somebody called me and told me is from Lloyds Bank and has an offert for a credit card. I think is scam because bank not call from ordinary mobile number.

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

Automated call Although not in my address book, number came up on my phone as being from Eastern Avenue Baptist Church and showed the address of 119 East Raod, Dagenham, Romford RM6 6YJ Automated message said I was being investigated and if I did not make contact with one of their officers, my National Insurance number would be withdrawn and then asked me to press 1 to speak to someone. Felt suspect.

Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.

This number called me on my landline & when I answered there was a pre-recorded message to the effect that there had been suspicious transactions on my bank card. I strongly suspect this is a scam.

This number was attached to a scam text telling me a virgin money account (not a customer) was placed on hold. All false.
