Yet another scam call from an Asian voice claiming to be from Windows help desk and tracing e-mail addresses used recently for attacks on other machines

I rang this number twice and the recording said if you are listening to this message your number has been successful bit worried as i dont normally answer or ring back

Usual stuff. Today i asked them to hold the line while I find the details. Set the timer and put the phone on mute. I ve had them wait for as long as 10 minutes before. The more time I waste the less they harass somebody else.

I had already blocked this number as a "cold caller" on my iPhone but these people are breaking the UK law by circumventing my block action and forcing my phone to ring. Asian person saying will only take a minute just wanted to ask a few questions. normally i just hang up but for some reason i didnt. asked me what my brand of tv is, how much i spend on holidays, who my electricty is with, my income bracket where i would go on holiday. dont think they are con artist, just gathering data so more companies can send you spam...should have hung up! waste of 2 minutes

Totally invading my privacy, highly annoying getting endless texts when I am at work, driving and at home in the evenings. Wish they would take a long walk off a short cliff. fed up of blocking numbers and then getting more and more from different numbers.

Any call from this apparent location is suspect.
