called my 84 year old mother today mentioning landlines and HSBC. She's been made very aware of scams so he didn't get anywhere, but hasn't come up in any scam searches so a miniscule chance it could have been legit. Won't put money on that though
SCAM!!!! Called me about my Virgin Media internet (I don't have Virgin Media BTW). She asked if she was talking to the account holder. Told her that for security purposes I wanted her to give me a small part of the name or address to make sure it wasn't a scam (which I already knew it was) And she hung up without even saying goodbye! Some scammers are just so damn rude these days! :-)

SCAM Claims to be from DHL, but the URL on the tracking link is dodgy as h3ll. If it was DHL, then they should be able to identify themselves like any major organisation, so I very much doubt it can be.

Their database was wonky as he assumed I had a Hotpoint which was a blatant guess. I scam baited this guy for 10-mins just for my amusement then he hung up when i didn't reveal any personal details.
This number called today at 13.01 asking to speak to Mrs Sarah McSherry. Informed her she had died twelve years ago. She apologised and I asked her to remove phone number from their list and she hung up. Number now blocked.

Their aim is to gain the confidence of people and persuade them to allow access to their computers so they can infect them. Had Phone call from this number regarding Electrical System Insurance. When I said that I already had it, the female caller said 'I know and it is £180.00 per annum and because you have not claimed for three years we are going to reduce it'.
