I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

Rang me 5 times before I answered, when I did answer they hung up the phone. Number is blocked.

Text addressed to wife and I regarding a complaint made by a 3rd party. Text provided this phone number and advised Adil Quddues would be calling me, which he did promptly. Adil pushed hard to obtain Full name, DOB & Address. I ended the call. Do not trust this number.

Client reported someone from this number has called 4-5 times in the last 2 weeks saying that he owed money.No other details.They gave correct surname but wrong initial. Gave correct postcode but no other info. Client has no debts/loans. Client very vulnerable, distressed by these calls( one was after 8pm)

A SCAM call supposedly from talktalk!

I received an email from Amy Pearce who is a recruitment consultant for sb millers inviting me to work for them. I Was immediately suspicious and a check on Google confirmed my suspicions. A Warning to everyone please check carefully such emails offering employment and if you are the least bit suspicious CHECK IT OUT FIRST BEFORE CALLING.

Called me at 09.02am asked for me by name but whould not say who they where or what company so I hang PPup.

A Telephone call at 8.10am to number in Hampshire. Call not picked up. No message left. Number traced to Castle Bay or Isle of Barra.The call was not followed up. Possible scam.

They ring 2-3 times a day to mobile and landline. Never leave a message, just blank. Disappear when phone is picked up. Very annoying! I take landline off the hook, they ring again as soon as replaced. I don t answer my mobile as number not known.

PPI scam. It s better to just block the number.

Accident chasers! even though I have never had an accident! Had 3 calls this week so far.

Received 4 calls from this number over 2 hrs - missed the first 3. It was a text message from Parcelforce to warn me that a parcel would be delivered today, and the parcel arrived a few minutes after the last call!

Asking me to confirm my e-mail address that s what I could make out. Very difficult to understand
