The woman I spoke to said her name was Agent Sophine and she was part of the investigation team, even though she kept changing the name of her department. She was very aggressive and spoke very fast. Pre recorded Scam call relating to unexpected withdrawals from a bank account. No name or bank mentioned. Asked for me to press 1 to confirm. That's a giveaway (red flag) as is the lack of personal details. I put the phone down immediately.

SCAM A chap (English) using this number rang to try to sell me a Medical Safety Pendant. Wouldn't say how he got my number but asked if I was over 50. When I asked if the call was the result of 'random' dialling, he ended the call. Quite possibly a scam!

Told me my credit card had been used in China, automated call, but also said press a certain number or HANG UP if you accept the charges; they DO NOT have your bank details its yer another con, to try to get you to answer their scam line, also used 07457522736.

Fraud - recorded message about possible fraudulent activity on bank account. Message says to press 1 to authorise payments or 2 to confirm payments are fraudulent.

scam alert!!!! will offer upgrade on EE phone no new contract blah blah, you'll get a new phone and a contract set up in your name. Gullible persons will send the new phone to a wrong address and EE will chase you for the handset! This is how the scam works. Report and block
