Yet another Asian sounding scammer! Wanting me to renew my direct debit for so-called insurance on Sky tv stuff. Very insistent that I had a previous direct debit for this. Utter rubbish!
SCAM - Person claimed they were from UK Insurance Department / Black Horse Finance. Had my name & first line of my address (somewhat disturbingly) and wanted me to verify further information for a PPI refund, even though I had never claimed for a PPI refund. They wouldn't give me a number to call and when I said this couldn't be correct, the date for claiming for PPI has long gone and companies aren't ringing people out of the blue years when they haven't claimed, he hung up.

01147001569 I received phone call from this number today. When I picked up and say hello, there was only recorded answer that I need to call back this number because there is important stuff from HMRC that I need to sort out. The end of the message was a threat that if I don't they will contact authorities. I just want to let you all know , that HMRC will never call you- they will ALWAY send you a letter. It is a SACM.

I Had tried applying for a payday loan and stupidly put my phone number out there so now im being bombarded with calls from this number it called me 3 times before i answered spoke to an indian man who was very rude and stated "did u just hang up on me" to then him go through my details which he must of picked up from another site, said his senior financial accounts officer would call back. They phoned me at 7.00am - it woke me up. The only person who calls me on my home phone is my brother, and at that time in the morning I thought he may be in trouble (ie fallen, ill ). I was continuously rang by an Asian sounding male, calling himself "Sean smith" and claiming to be from the citizens advice beuro. I basically called him a liar, and asked him to take my number off of his system. He refused, and continued to call me numerous times, some withholding number, some not. Some calls I answered, but didn t talk, carried on like normal, some calls I let ring out. Do not trust whoever it is.
