I answered the phone to a confident sounding male who I knew was trying to sell something as he began with the usual "I hope I find you well this afternoon". He said our property was on their database as having old fashioned loft insulation. I immediately interrupted him to tell him he was wrong, we have modern insulation and that we don't want it up to the rafters as the loft is boarded and used for storage. Only I didn't get to finish as he hung up on me. Didn't get the company name to

SCAM. An automotive caller clamming to be my Energy Supplier saying, "Your energy supplier is going to be cut off, in an hour if I do not call them back to stop this from happening". SCAM do not call them back at all, block their number and report them.

I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.

Guy calls saying I qualify for a refund due to a prior overpayment and that he can help me claim it. I ask where he s calling from, he says "consumer services". Starts asking for my banking details and I have to interrupt him again to ask what company the "consumer services" relates to. He answers with Reactiv Media and the continues badgering me for bank details. I stop him to say I don t recognise the name of the company and if he could remind me what service I purchased from them. He hung up.

I got a phone call from AMS about the car accident that I had in the last year and a half. When I asked when exactly this accident was supposed to have taken place they couldn't tell me. I asked where they were calling from and I was told Glasgow. I said to the person that they didn't sound Scottish to me and they hung up! They are a total scam company.
