Fraud . . . A recorded message claiming to be from Amazon, thanking me for renewing my Prime membership and offering me a bargain price for a future renewal. I do not have Amazon Prime membership. Clearly the instigator of the call does not know whether or not I have Amazon Prime membership. I am in Cornwall.
Organised Crime fraudsters. It's suppose to be UK number but based in Russia. They are using legitimate business names to defraud people. Please do the needful by contacting those legitimate businesses and telling them that fraudsters are using their business names to commit financial crimes.
Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.

I was called from 0121 554 8370 who claimed to be from virgin media stating that my internet had been highjacked from outside the property. When asking the caller questions she was not able to provide adequate information so I ended the call as I became suspicious as the questions they would have knowledge of by looking at our account details. If this was a genuine call from virgin media, I suggest they have the details of the account in front of them before they make the call.
