I regularly get calls from this number. It s mostly an Indian sounding woman on the phone who either tells me that she is calling for the victim, because I should have caused an accident or she tells me that my computer was broken.

GET COLD CALL MOST DAY S. SOMETIME S MORE THAN TWICE ADAY

No-one said anything. I was surprised the number wasn't withheld. When I rang back an automated system said 'Please hang up' (twice) then cut the line.

I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

It s insurance on behalf of unite. They only phone if you tell them your interested in insurance. Also you are entitled to free cover upto 5k for a year but they are asking if you want more coverage. If you speak to them and you don t want it that s it for a year.

this number just rung saying they can offer an early upgrade to my contract with Three (I m actually with three), but the man new nothing about my contract and asked me how much I spent on average on my phone. If it was a genuine call regarding offering me an upgrade for my existing contract he would at least knew how much I spent every month! Then he hanged up. UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message). They ring you up and launch into their patter about time running out to claim for PPI. I don t know whether they are any use to someone who has actually been mis-sold PPI but probably not, as these people would already know and have lodged their claim - free - with their bank. No-one needs these parasites; certainly not me.
