He said they were a debt consolidation company so I asked who was financially backing them. He said he couldn t tell me so I advised him that the information should be public knowledge and available from Companies House. Received automated call on 11 Nov 2016 at 8:59. Female voice with Indian accent said "I am ... calling from BT and it is about your broadband line". I said I knew she was not from BT and she hung up. This scam has been going on for several days. It appears to be a spoof number, you cannot call back.

asked for me by name, asked if I d received my refund for ppi on a credit agreement, would not accept my answer that I ve never had one, said I must be lying as everyone has had credit, and my name is on her list and she s only trying to help me, when I asked her to remove my number she became very aggressive and said I was the one losing out, REALLY ?
