Caller said he was Virgin Media Technical Department and believed I was having trouble with my internet speed. He wanted me to do a speed test but when I said that I couldn't do that he disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never phoned me in the past. As far as I'm aware, Virgin never phone customers when there's any problem so I'm rating this call as dangerous.

Twice so far this number has called me they said hello then they hung up The calls lasted for 9 seconds and 11 seconds respectively Annoying Im waiting for a third call Might be a scam If it was a legit call they would not have hung up My advice is to let them speak let them say who they are let them do all the talking and say nothing

SCAM - called back the number and spoke to the post office, said they think someone is cloning their number as they’re getting a lot of calls from people saying that they missed a call from the post office which isn’t true

they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.

This is a scam. Told I owed money ($4000) form a credit card I had from 2010 to 2016. Would not give me proof of the debt. I never had a credit card during that time period. Said they are going to try to take $8400 from my bank account by serving papers to the county clerk that is in my county. I spoke to a couple of attorneys which said it sounds like a scam. The debt is past the statute of limitations in my state which is 4 years. Her name is "Tracy", the number she called me from is (980) 3

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. A man rang from this number, I think he said from PAC - had my name and said I had been advised by a financial adviser to move my pension. When I asked where he got this information, he said from Pensionwise. As far as I am aware Pensionwise do not have such information. I said I had not seen a financial advisor or been advised to move my pension. The man was very polite and rang off. I was suspicious and think it could have been a dangerous if I had shared financial info.
