SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. SCAM - cold call from - claimed to be Green Energy - but number checked with them and its not theirs! They suggest its a scam call from a broker trying to access data.

Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. A comment he made got me suspicious and I rang off/blocked

Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. Told her I knew she was a scammer, at which point she hung up.

Claimed to be from Halifax bank fraud team

I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.

I look it up British gas wish to fit one of these new SMART meters I dont want one
