Annoying getting unsolicited calls when abroad and having to pay for them to hang up. really frustrated

This is SCP the recruitment team for a large healthcare provider. Its most likely about a job you applied for.

Keep getting calls from this number and when you answer there is noone on there, we had about 10 in 1 day.

Automated accident claim pest

Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

I was called to day and the man asked to speak to my husband. I asked him what about and he said that it was about his HSBC holdings which needed assessing. I told him he couldn t be from HSBC as my husband died this year and HSBC were well aware of this. He apologised quickly and rang off.

And again... the money group! Its getting on my nerves!

I ve had numerous calls(>25)claiming to be from"Talk Talk". Most calls are a few sec s of silence,followed by automated voice saying "Thank You" & call ends. Others advise choosing keypad options;I ve not tried,in case it s a premium rate/International call back scam. Sometimes caller speaks in broken English,citing:"My Talk Talk account"as reason for call. Repeated requests to remove my number, in compliance with Data Protection Act are ignored.

"According to the governments green deal database you have not claimed your free boiler upgrade" Give me a free boiler first, and we ll talk. Otherwise, stop making illegal automated calls to numbers that have not consented.

Called me twice in one day. Unknown number. Not answered. No message left
