I was targeted for an unusually precise scam 26/05/23 in which a group telephoned me apparently with specific knowledge of my bank organisation, my name and mobile number. The scam started by suggesting there was fraudulent activity on my bank account, and that the account was being temporarily suspended. What surprised me was that they knew who I banked with, and also spoofed the relevant bank telephone number

SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Swearing dialogue commenced, said they were from Sri Lanka which seems nonsense. Accent sounded Indian. Called back on different number

I've been called 2 days in a row. Says it's a nameless bank concerned about 2 charges on my bank card. One for £300 and one for £3000. The number is not recognized when rung back. This is a scam. Please be careful and do not give any information.

SCAM its an insurance scam company, they are using illegal auto-dialling software meaning theres never anyone on the end of the phone and it will keep calling you endlessly. This is because your insurer has sold on your contact details to this third party who will try to get you to make accident claims for a cut of the payout. File a complaint with your insurance broker for selling on your personal information.

SPAM Associated with one of the emails 'notifying' me of my Norton renewal and that some money will shortly be taken from my account. Comes from a gobbledegook.gmail address

Like the previous person who reported this number, I also received a text message with the same message. Firstly, I am not expecting a parcel. Second, I too am always in. And thirdly, the message came through at 00.16 am….!! I don’t know of any post office employee who would be calling or trying to deliver a parcel at just gone midnight…! SCAM

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. Beware. Asian sounding lady claimed to be storing my will and wanted to go through and check for updates. They knew my name and postcode. I hung up and went to our solicitor who said wills are held in their own store and they know nothing about any cold calls.
