SCAM - automated call saying I have a £1000 international charge on my phone and to press 1 to cancel and speak to someone. I hung up.
Phone number 0151 513 7914; person on phone asks me how I am and says she is from Virgin Media. I know she is not and she knows she is not. I am having lots of calls from, apparently, Virgin Media, who says there is a scam on my Virgin Media Not even entertaining them now, just block the number

Has tried to ring my house phone now 3 days in a row! 2nd may @ 16.45pm 3rd may @ 19.10pm 4th may @12.15pm They will possably try again today 5th may at some point! It is illegal now to cold call ppl so i will be reporting there call attempts Luckly my housephone dont ring if scammers or ppl not in my phone try to ring but still what there doing is now illegal to do

HMRC scam call threatening legal action - after looking on HMRC website it’s a confirmed scam and I have reported it to them also.
00472195 4274 called me 7Jun23 at 17:13 hours, NO message left this time. BUT see earlier comments reported here, 00472195 9400 called 7June23 at 14:57, left a message along the customary... this is a message from Amazon to advise that your Prime membership has expired and £95 has been charged to your account to renew. Coronavirus. Claimed to be from government updating records about coronavirus. This is the 4th call with this claim. They ask questions about vaccination and whether you have had the virus. They claim there is some government initiative to pay half of insurance claims relating to the virus. The whole exercise comes to a stop when I won't tell them who my life insurance is with. One call even suggested I make up a provider, so I suggested he make one up. Seems like a phishing scam.
Claims to be regarding my appliance warranty, which I have never had!!!!

Fraudulent message about coming in contact with someone with Covid 19. I clicked on the link, they provided and saw it looked like an NHS website. Then I went to click on the NHS logo (assuming it would take me to the homepage), however, it came up with a 404 code showing this page didn’t exist. This is a SCAM. It’s a fabricated message. Don’t fill out any details they ask for!

strange unsolicited call from number belonging to: 'W A Read & Sons Ltd' Upon answer there was no reply and the phone put down. I called them several times over and got redirected to voicemail until they eventually gave up and answered. Lady picked up and I asked "What do you want"? No response and phone was put down. This happened two more times. They then disconnected the phone it seems.

SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Why don't they get a proper job.
