Decent chap - good plumber.

Optical Express - they called as I had made an inquiry online about laser eye surgery but they rang 10 times over the space of a few days, didn t leave a message or text/email to say who they were. It really has put me off using them as I can imagine they will harass me if I do go for a consultation.

PPI automated call. Will probably be followed fairly soon after with a call from a private number with some snotty nosed git who knows more about you than you d like. Don t engage them. If you do have a PPI claim print the form from the FSA website and send it yourself. Thats all these guys do anyway and they take 20% (or more) of whatever settlement you get.....

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. I started with the Peoples Postcode lottery and never expected a call, had I been told to expect a call I would have replied. The message says that they will try call again.

Very persistent person with strong accent claiming to be from Manchester (Liverpool Number), asking details about a non existent accident. Seems not to know about the telephone ...

10 to 15 calls a week. 99% are automated calls. we were lucky to get hold of an actual human being. unfortunately those humans are as automated as their mechanical colleagues. they unable to comprehend even the simplest syntax like: do not call me again!!!!!!!!!!
