Called today without leaving a mesage. Ignored it and tried to google number but nothing came up. Phoned the number back and just long peeps on the line.

Code 023 is both Southampton and Portsmouth 023 92****** is a Portsmouth number 023 80****** is Southampton Portsmouth and Southampton share the same overall area code (023) but the eight digit local number structure begins 92 for Portsmouth and 80 for Southampton

HMRC threatening legal action if you don t call back

Just called me and i answered. it was as scripted automated message that claimed to be "Linda Turner" repeatedly asking if i ve had an accident in the last 3 years that wasn t my fault. I m registered with TPS so do not know where they got my details.

they have been calling me every day for months. Put number on blocked list 3 months ago and can see they still try and call every single day. Fed up!

Woman wanted to know if I had a cat accident. Must of told her three or more times I have no car.

The caller was a man with a foreign accent. He started to tell me he was calling about my computer but I decided it was a scam, told him I wasn t interested, hung up and blocked the number. I do not generally answer numbers that I do not recognise but as it was 08.30, I thought it could be somthing important.

Chap claiming to be "Jim from Unique Preferences" (with a thick Indian accent) wanted to ask me "a few simple yes or no questions". He insisted he was not trying to sell me anything. The purpose of the call was "marketing". He said his company s partners would be able to make me offers which could save me money.
