rang the mobile first then the land line, Tesco bank calling about fraudulent use of my card

Phoned to tell me that I would receive documents in the post in the next two days for my PPI claim. (Oh!) Then asked if I had taken out any credit cards or loans. I responded with "you phoned me and told me you are sending documents, so tell me which loan" to which I was thanked for wasting her time.

NEVER call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number masked by a spoofed number which could be a very expensive call.

Totally invading my privacy, highly annoying getting endless texts when I am at work, driving and at home in the evenings. Welsh lad called, went through whole list of directors names that he alleged he d spoken to earlier in the year. Given that I deal with the telecoms I know this is BS. Said he would ring back; when told that the directors don t take unsolicted calls replied that it wasn t unsolicited. The bloke is an absolute weapon.

I was called to day and the man asked to speak to my husband. I asked him what about and he said that it was about his HSBC holdings which needed assessing. I told him he couldn t be from HSBC as my husband died this year and HSBC were well aware of this. He apologised quickly and rang off.
