Wasn t happy when started to ask for relatively minor details (address/post code) so caller advised not prepared to discuss further. Not content with my perspective of "This is unsolicited, from a number I don t recognise, and you ve advised you are as acting as a 3rd party" tried to push on. This telephone number is telesales regarding Insurance.

Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

This is a sales marketing company if you try to call them back all you get is a recorded message saying your call is very important to usplease hold the line ect ect nobody ever...

Phoned twice a day for the past week claim to be from talk talk think that what he said as he could barely speak enlish

I've had 2 unknown numbers from Liverpool. One 'following an accident I've had' ... and the other call the line went dead. Have blocked both now.

Called today said he was Steve from TalkTalk and my internet connection was about to be shut off for 15 days. He would send a new router and cable to avoid this. He was about to ask me to follow instructions to re-set router, etc when I asked for proof he was from TalkTalk. He hung up! Funny though, we are actually in talks with TalkTalk about a new router and seem to get scam calls right after we speak to them!

Phone asking to speak to Mr ... (he had the correct surname) about a car accident Mr ... had had. When I asked which Mr ... (me or one of my sons) he said he would have to check with the insurance co and hung up. Things to note: None of the Mr ... on this number have had a car accident.
