Automated call Rang to say i had a lottery win unclaimed for up to £500,000 and to press 1 to contact an advisor so put phone down. Just thought to put this on here to help others as looks/sounds dodgy.

Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

7727729264 This number was sent as a text with my name on and it carried unkind, abusive text. When I tried to call back it did not accept incoming calls. It was highly upsetting.

SCAM making out to be a Television Repair Insurance company. Very persistent when you tell them that you haven’t got one. They also know your address and try to say they’ll take money from your account. I didn’t give any details and kept saying I haven’t taken out any such item. I received a call from this number today saying someone had tried to pay for something on Amazon and with draw £1000 from my bank. It just went off before the call finished so I rang the number back on my mobile. I guy answered but said he had not used his phone that morning.

This number called and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who was calling he hung up. I have blocked this number- definitely dodgy if he won’t say who he is and why he is calling.

They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.

ISP scam from India. Man from Openreach said that my internet connection had been used for illegal activity and they would disconnect me. Obvious scam. I played dumb for a bit and eventually the guy gave up and disconnected the call.

SCAM I was phoned by this number today. It was a crackly line and the woman said she it was a bank call telling me that there were 2 suspicious payments from my bank account today. One for £300 and one for £3000. There were nos to press to agree to the payments or a number to speak to someone. I ended the call and then redialled the number registered, but it said that it was an incorrect number.

SCAM Says they are a phone company who can give you the Huawei P50 Pro for £20 a month unlimited calls texts and data on any network!! Definitely a scam
