Received a text from this number, claiming to be from Evri (the new name for Hermes), saying they'd missed a delivery, and wanted £1.45 for redelivery. I googled Evri and and according to them it's a scam, to get your bank details and Mt your account.
Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. As this is the code where we live, answered the first call - no immediate response but after a few seconds, over a very crackly line, what sounded like a well spoken middle aged white lady, said something along the lines of 'suspicious transactions on my account, one for £300 odd & the other for £1,400 odd & I must do certain things at which point I hung up. Recieved phone call from 01483577441 at 1045am on Saturday 28th January 2023, Preporting to be from Amazon, stating they were witholding a payment of £700.00 As they suspect it. Fraud SCAM Got a call from this number, 21/02/2024 at 16:41. Scam caller claiming to be carphone warehouse, which I have no account or dealings with. The people on the other end were talking together unaudibly for at least 30 seconds before some lady spoke through the phone claiming to be carphone warehouse, which she called ‘carphone company’. Hang up and block this number immediately.

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.
