Supposedly a recruiter from VBeyond Corporation but I haven't applied or shared my details with them
asking me personal questions about an accident over a year ago. purported to be instructed by my insurers. asking personal questions. i firmly asked twice who they were and why they were calling. caller clearly panicked at this and hung up.
caller claimed that an arrest warrant had been issued for my committing tax fraud. I hung up.

Continuous calls from this number saying they do all of BT Renewals! I have an online account with BT and direct access to BT, and any changes or renewals to my accounts are dealt with direct, so why are they bothering me? I have told them to stop or I will make a formal complaint.

Impersonating a police officer is actually a criminal offence. Reckons I was caught using my phone by static camera, told him where to go and suggested he uses local officers to knock on my door. Now blocked.

Unsolicited cold call-when rang back "please stay on the line you call is important to us"-yep, I put the phone down and blocked the number.
Called claiming to be Scottish Power. I stupidly went through the security questions (address and DOB) as I am in process of leaving Scottish Power. He then said I had a balance to pay on the account and would I like to pay by card. I had suspicions though and said I would do it online - he asked why, at which point I was really suspicious and called up Scottish Power who didn t know the number, and said my account was in credit. When I answered the call, the woman at the other end mentioned a company (I can't remember their name), they told me "I've been informed that you were involved in an accident that wasn't your fault. Is that right?" Clearly phishing. I asked "Who informed you?" and was put on hold. I was tempted to see what would happen next but decided to hang up.
I received a call from a female telling me she had been informed I had been involved in an accident "Is that right she asked" I said bollocks is it [email?protected]@k and told her not to ring my number again! The number is - 02070239445

Called today, 11.38...Voice said "Hi my names Chris, a local energy advisor, I hope everyone is ok"....I didn't speak and after about 10 seconds the line cuts off. Initially you think its someone there, but it isn't. It says the first recorded part, then waits for a voice to answer, at which point it plays the next part, which usually talks over you. very clever, but a scam nonetheless. Just hang up or say nothing and you are good.
