There was a call from this number to my mobile number. The line was awful but there was someone on the other end with a strong Asian accent, which added to the bad line, I couldn't understand a word they were saying. It's a Garstang number and I don't know anyone or aware of any business in that area, so presume the call was a possible scam call.

SCAM - claim to be from BT Openreach and advise my internet searching has gone from private to public. They had my home address details (but I didn’t confirm anything). My system has not been compromised, as I have all my security settings nailed down and up to date. Don’t divulge or confirm anything with them, even when they say they are putting a block on your IP, it’s nonsense.

Have I asked you for your bank account or for money... NO!!" I was very angry and gave him some nice new words to look up. There is no way he was a specialist from Microsoft!

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! Called today 31 August 22 with an automated message pretending to be from my bank. Saying there were suspicious transactions on my credit card. Press 2 to speak to security. "Security" guy was abrupt and rude demanding personal details. When I queried why he needed these details (if genuine call he should know) he simply hung up
SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Now this is the 4th number today that’s been trying to calling me to put it that way. I didn’t answer this one. Now it’s harassment. Again, no idea who it is even if it’s likely the same individual.
Indian accent with British name stating he is calling from O2, then said he noticed I'm not O2 and asked how much I pay and said that he could give me a £6 per month deal. Then I said I'm on Pay as you go and only top-up £5 per year he called me a fool, said I was making him a fool and asked if I'm on my father or mother's company. I'm not even in the UK and my parents are retired... :D CLEAR SCAM but not so smart

SCAM The caller was a recording with a female voice with American/Canadian accent. She told me she was from security at my bank card (no account name or bank) and I had £10,000 taken from my account and £2000 by PayPal. If I was not aware of these transactions I should press button 1. This call is identical to many others I have received with the same voice but differing amounts. No bank card or account is ever identified. It is a Scam to get you to press button 1 and make your phone open to the scam
This call is from the Visa Debit Fraud pretending there is a pending transaction of £900 and to press one if this is not a transaction you recognise. I never pressed one, but I suspect if they did my bank details would have been requested. I checked with my bank there are no pending transactions
