this number rang me and then rang off when I answered. This is the usual pattern used by scammers piggy-backing someone else's number.

SCAM - number given in a text (from +44 7739741163) supposedly from Lloyds Bank, asking recipient to contact 01332556003 if a standing order for £537 to NVG Life Insurance had not been set up by the recipient. However, the recipient has no account with LLoyds!

Fraud - claimed to be welsh government doing a survey on employment but the gov know my household is not employed due to sickness and being a full time carer The only companies are HMRC and DWP you should speak to, and they rarely call you without a letter to inform. Or, a letter reccomending to call them to resolve an issue. DO NOT TRUST. They will try collecting personal information.

I have received 3 text messages from a number claiming to be BTBusiness asking me to call them back at this number or text STOP to 60251. As I don't have an account with BT at all, I've ignored them but 3 messages in 3 days is a bit annoying.

This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. Hope this helps others

Randomly called said she was from sky and said our internet is slow. Tried to get us to download and app called quick support. This app allows people to remotely access your phone. Very dangerous as the can get so many details this way. We questioned her and she hung up. Called back and metro express answered, Im guessing this number is used for numerous amounts of scams. Danger - this number is from a scam Norton 360 protection email. It asks you to call number if you want to cancel the new subscription you have supposedly auto renewed. Would not have worked on me as I have taken Norton 360 as it’s crap as a protection software tool. If I had I would have gone direct to the Norton rather than respond to a high lighted number in an email.

They asked to access my pc to check a frozen crypto wallet. When i asked them why i apparently had £16k in my name they were kindly trying to return to me. I said i wasn't aware of this and they should give it to charity rather than faff about with my pc, this confused the nice man. He insisted i should have my money back, we to and fro'd for a little bit before he eventually accepted that i actually knew more about blockchain transactions than he did.
