Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I m an ex police officer and I can tell you the company is legit, they called me and dealt with my mortgage and several loans I had years ago. They got me some money back and I was very happy with the service they provided. Excellent team of people. All hard working and lovely to speak to. Got ?6,000 back and I was very happy!! Had a call from this number - I never speak, so the phone was put down without the caller speaking. However, I am registered with TPS. Looking at the comments, it seems to me that the caller has been "identified" in many different ways. I can only assume that it must originate from criminal sources.

This is the second time in two weeks that my 89 year old mother has received a call from this number purporting to be HMRC. Luckily, she puts the phone down as soon as she knows...
