SCAM: call received at lunchtime on 7.5.2021 to work landline. Caller said they were Emily from Virgin Media about my internet connection. Queried why calling as this was not my internet provider and told that Virgin Media responsible for security of the entire internet! Then said she was in. Virgin Technical Dept. When I said it seemed unbelievable that Virgin Media managed security for entire internet was asked why i hadn’t terminated call. Caller hung up and called me disrespectful!
SCAM / SPAM Called 21/5/2020 asking about recently installed loft insulation. Hung up when asked when this was, given there has been no loft insulation recently put in.

Caller (in a thick Indian / Asian accent) asked by name for a previous user of my number. When I said I wasn t that person and enquired as to who he was, he got very abusive and terminated the call. Almost certainly a scam of some sorts.

Just received a call from this number now. A guy called James was the caller and said he was calling on behalf of my bank as I had apparently been in contact with them, which I haven t and he had my name also. It sounded like he was giggling and chuckling whilst he was reading out his spiel so I hung up. Will be keeping an eye out for this number calling again so I won t pick up.

I believe this company is Harringtons Advisory ltd. PPI,Pensions,Accidents,Mortgages,debts, and other claims calls. I have found 67 phone numbers for them so far, and 35 of them end in 063. This company is under investigation by the Claims Management Regulator, but thats only for the PPI side of it. I have had nothing but hassle from this company. Caller had British accent. He said he was not trying to selling anything, and asked something about electricity. However really most of what he said went in one ear and out the other, as I quicky lose interest when getting cold callers! These calls are annoying as I am registered with tpsonline.org.uk so I should not be getting these calls.

kept ringing, hung up. its a computer calling many homes at once, and when you pick up, if they have staff available they will talk. if no staff, the call hangs up and calls another 100+ homes. very annoying. if not a scam, probably selling junk or ppi that you wouldnt have bought otherwise. AVOID
Called this number back and got a pre-recorded message saying I'm todays lucky winner of £1000 or an iPad at which point I hung up and blocked the number!
