I received a call from somebody claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. I asked him to send your new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request stating that it was impossible. I told him to call back when he had sent the email. He rang from this number 2 days later and came out with the same nonsense. He said he was Roger. I hung up and complained to SSE.

SCAM-This is a scam call. My mother has been getting a lot of these from the same location. Sometimes they have a voice message asking you to pay money to listen to the voicemail. Avoid at all cost and if you can block the number.

Potential Fraud- Received a call from this number regarding sponsorship of an anti-bullying campaign. Wanted payment of an invoice for £180
Called to say that this was the bank and that there was strange transactions using my card today. I just hung up. Would say this is people trying to get your bank details to hack your account.

08009555544 - TALKTALK - Moving elsewhere but getting frequent attempts to get me not to go. Shame they didn't have any other contract options for me from my account (NEVER DID, EVER - month in month out year in year out). Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

It was a recording saying charged for amazon. I spoke to man on other side after I explained I was a woman not a man then the abuse I got was off the scale. He said I will die soon coz I'm old and do I really like doing the things I do with men. I just put the phone down. I am so angry. When I searched this number it is saying furniture shop in Walsall.
