Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

Spammed me with calls over a few days that I kept missing. When I picked up, they claimed to be from Steadman-Chase in London. I didn't really believe them and they tried to convince me to invest, along with trying to throw terms at me to sound smart. When they finally accepted that I wasn't interested, they abruptly hung up. Block this number!

I asked why it was so cheap and they said it was a limited, local promotion not available online or instore. I asked for more details and they said they would email them to me. Fraud A man with a heavy accent told me that someone tried to draw money from my account. He did not give a bank name or anything else. I asked him to repeat his first phrase that came without a greeting or any other polite introduction. Not his name, not an organisation. I interrupted him to tell him that I knew exactly what kind of fraud he was trying on me and he broke the connection at once. The number seems to be in the Manchester area.
