The man was extremely foul mouthed and told me in no uncertain terms he hadn't rung me

I was called by this number on 16/2/23 at 10.13am. The caller claimed to be from my broadband supplier and said there were problems with my broadband. I said I had no problems and didn’t understand how they could try to con people in this way. Same number called me again at 11.48am, 12.16, and 13.22. These were silent calls. Clearly I annoyed them, but I’m fed up with these calls. How do they know who my broadband provider is ?

Far Eastern accent, and as soon as I asked him to repeat who he said he was calling from, he hung up. I dialled the number with the prefix 141, but it did not ring out. Clearly a SCAM. Unusually for me, I then dialled the number without the prefix, and that also did not ring at all, even thoigh I had checked that my line was open. AVOID

Scammers got my name form Mail Order Catalogue sais I was due a 70% discount off restaurant meals. Lots of people heard in background 'call centre' , I put the phone down to the Asian accented lady. SCAM said my sky internet had been compromised I asked how much do I need to pay the foreign voice said nothing he can sort if I can give him access to my computer. I asked him what my name and address was he said he knows I asked again what are they and he hung up.
