Put another person on the phone when she got flustered, male then started asking me my security question, what model of phone I had, mt network provider was etc. SCAM - avoid!! Indian scammer called saying there have been charges of over £1500 on a debit card that I do not have, waisted 50 mins of my time playing along, when I told him I have over £235,000 in a saving account plus another £53,000 in other accounts he gave me this number to call, I said I will call them in a hour as I have a Doctors appointment.
I received a call from 01174418934, rang two times and I picked up, then they hanged up. Highly likely that this is a scam or fraud attempt -- the real fraud will begin when/if you call them back. I do not recommend calling back this number. Fraud SPAM SCAM

My wife took the call and person with a Asian voice started to go on about my council tax and when i asked why he was calling at this time he said it was very important and i told him all government offices are closed and that this is a failed scam and he and his boss must be as thick as hell to call at this time then i put the phone down. Beware its another scam.

Young lady, sounded like a human not a recording, British accent, told me (using my name) that she was calling about teh washing machine policy registered at my address (which worryingly she also knew). This is a well known scam. I told her that she knew as well as I did that there was no such thing and suggested she get herself a proper job.

Silent call 01302492871 Phoned our landline. Went onto answermachine. Didn't leave a message. Doncaster number. We are with TPS, and Call Protect, but that didn't stop them from phoning.
Automated message with American accent stating HMRC have sent me a letter and are starting court proceedings against me and to press 1 to speak with someone. I have checked with HMRC and this is a known scam.
Repeated call with unintelligible voice message left. This has happened 5 times on 5 consecutive days.
