Started taking Direct Debit from my account, after I told them I didn t need continuing insurance on an appliance I don t own anymore. Call blocker activated as they called 2/3 times a day, wanting to know why I had cancelled the DD. Very Annoying!!

SCAM / SPAM When I answered the call an automated voice told me that it was HMRC and I was being investigated for tax fraud. It said to press 1 to be taken to HMRC. I pressed 1 and a lady with an Indian accent answered saying she was HMRC and "how can I help you?" Call center Automated call claiming I had suspicious activity on my bank account but went to an agent claiming they were from the FCA. The ombudsman have no reason to be directly looking at my bank account without the bank ever contacting me. Strange behaviour. Wanted me to spell my details back to him as if data gathering.

Welsh lad called, went through whole list of directors names that he alleged he d spoken to earlier in the year. Given that I deal with the telecoms I know this is BS. Said he would ring back; when told that the directors don t take unsolicted calls replied that it wasn t unsolicited. The bloke is an absolute weapon.
